There's a love for every nation,

There's a love that is Divine;

There's a love enfolding heartaches

For the halt, the lame, the blind.

There's a love that reaches victims

Of man's hate and greed and vice;

It's the love that is Eternal

From our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

You may be a normal housewife,

You may be a working man,

You may be a duke or duchess,

One who reigns and rules the land,

But your need is just as needy

As the homeless, helpless mass;

You need Jesus Christ as Saviour,

Need His Love to hold you fast.

It's for you , O lonely outcast,

It's for you, unmarried mum,

It's for you, perverted rapist,

It's for you, rebellious son.

You, who separate the classes,

Segregating black and white,

It's for you, respected con-man,

Love, to make your darkness light.

O, embracing Love Eternal,

O, embracing Love Divine;

O, enfolding arms of Mercy,

O, Eternal Christ sublime;

Lift us from the vice of living,

Lift us from the doubt and fears,

Clasp us in Thy Love securely,

Rescue us and dry our tears.
