Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

What we Believe:

1. GOD. We believe in one God who exists eternally in three distinct but equal persons, viz. the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is unchangeable in His holiness, justice, wisdom and love. He is the Almighty God who created the world, made us in His own image and so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son for our redemption.

2. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that He is co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father. We believe the Biblical record of His virgin birth, sinless life, works, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, ascension and promise of his personal return. Christ came into the world to provide salvation for all, through faith in Him as Saviour and Lord and to restore us to fellowship with God. He is the sole mediator between God and man.

3. THE HOLY SPIRIT. We believe that God the Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Bible, is a person co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. The Holy spirit brings an awareness of guilt, brings about the new birth and indwells believers that they may lead a godly life. The Holy Spirit strengthens faith, helps in prayer, is the pledge of our inheritance, brings comfort and peace in times of sorrow and distress, and enlightens our hearts and minds to understand and apply the truth in Christ and the Bible. He glorifies the Lord Jesus, builds up the Church, imparts various spiritual gifts, thus empowering its members for worship, service and mission.

4. THE CHURCH. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, which is described in the scriptures as Christ's body. It is composed only of those who have been born again through faith in Christ and have committed their lives to Him. In any local community the Church consists of all such people, regardless of the Christian group to which they are affiliated. The Church, spiritually conceived and Christ centred is a living organism which expresses itself through dedicated Christians under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

5. THE BIBLE. We believe that God has revealed Himself in the Bible which consists of the Old and New Testaments alone. It is the divinely inspired and only authorative Word of God, without error, supreme and final in its authority in matters of faith, doctrine and practice.

6. THE HUMAN RACE. We believe that, as a result of the fall of our first parents, every aspect of human nature has been corrupted and all men and women are born without spiritual life, guilty sinners and hostile to God. Every person is, therefore, under the just condemnation of God, needs to be born again, forgiven and reconciled to God in order to know and please Him.

7. SALVATION. We believe that individuals become children of God only by true repentance, turning from sin and turning to Christ as Saviour. True repentance results in a changed life - all who trust in Christ are completely cleansed by His blood, justified by faith alone, adopted into the family of God, indwelt by the Holy Spirit and receive eternal life. Believers should now seek to live their lives according to the will of God. The fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit should be evident in a believer's life.

8. BAPTISM. We believe in water baptism by immersion of believers, in accordance with Christ's command of Matthew chapter 28 verse 19.It does not impart spiritual life. It is an outward symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and testifies that one has repented and been forgiven by faith in Him.

9. THE LORD'S SUPPER. We believe in the observance of the Lord's Supper by believers, in obedience to Christ's commands, it is a simple commemoration of His sacrificial death offered once for all. It involves no change in the bread or wine.

10. THE FUTURE. We believe that eternal life begins here in this world when one comes into a transforming, saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It means also life after death for all ages to come.Eternal life further means a quality of life which God imparts to those who become children of God. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return to the air in glory to receive His Church into heaven as predicted in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 16 & 17. We believe He will later return to reign on the earth for a season. Those who have rejected Christ as Saviour and Lord will be judged by God and eternally separated from Him and eternally punished in hell; thus they are excluded from the everlasting bliss reserved for those who have accepted the love and forgiveness of God, revealed in Christ.
